  • Create a new folder on your C:\ called "wdcache"
  • Save and close all open applications
  • Disconnect all open WebDrives (Your computer will hang if you do not)
  • Right-click your WebDrive icon and choose "Program Settings"
  • Click the "Cache" tab
  • Click "Move Folder"
  • Select the "C:\wdcache" folder and click "OK" and "OK" again.

"I don't see my webdrive icon."
If you do not see the WebDrive icon, learn how to open WebDrive manually. If you see the error below, it means that you are already connected or the drive letter you specified in the advanced configuration is in use.

It means that you are already connected if the error message says the drive is mapped to the name of your WebDrive connection. Open "My Computer" and then open the drive name for your connection, to use your WebDrive.

If the name is not what you gave to your WebDrive connection, you need to open WebDrive manually, select your connection on the list to the left, change the drive letter, and click "Connect".

"I can't connect."
Check the "Site Address/URL" box in WebDrive client (open it by going to Start > Programs > WebDrive > WebDrive) and be sure it reads https://webdav.odu.edu/...
Double check the MIDAS username and password fields, which are case sensitive.
Be sure that "Anonymous/Public Logon" is NOT checked.

"I get a 403 Forbidden error."
You might be over your disk quota. Remove unnecessary files or contact webadmin@odu.edu to justify increasing your quota.
