Whenever unplanned system outages occur, information is posted as an Alert on the OCCS homepage. When the issue has been resolved, a follow-up Alert is posted. Alerts are archived weekly and retained under the Alerts Archive link for one month.
Planned system outages are posted as Announcements prior to the outage to allow individual users time to prepare appropriately. Announcements are archived as News articles.
As established by the University, regular system maintenance is conducted between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Sundays as necessary. At times, this maintenance may require that systems be made temporarily unavailable. Alerts will NOT BE posted for these outages unless they will extend past the established time frame.
