Please fill in the incident reporting form. Please make an effort to include all information that you can provide. You may remain anonymous if you type in 'anonymous' in the first and last name fields, if you prefer".
Spam Abuse
Reports relating to spam (Unsolicited Commercial Email, or UCE) must include:
- University Community: Confirmation of your registration status with www.spamtrap.odu.edu. For Notes users, do not forward email - headers are lost. Rather, contact the security group through the abuse email address and request (clearly) that you wish for your Notes Inbox to be checked with the "from" and date/time of the suspect message.
- Outside ODU: Full headers of the email MUST be provided. The security staff will not act on any email that does not include full headers, as we cannot track the source of the email. UCE is governed by Virginia Law 18.2-152.3:1.
