Recent Phishing E-Mails - Don't Fall for it

There has been a recent increase in the Phishing scams to hit the Old Dominion University campus (and many others).

Please remember - Old Dominion University will NEVER ask for your PASSWORD.

The most recent scam reports to be from the ".Edu messaging center", has a title of "CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT " and threatens to delete your e-mail account unless you update the following information:

CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL IDENTITY BELOW
Email Username :-------------------
EMAIL Password :-------------------
Date of Birth :--------------------

Please:
* Delete the e-mail and any like it.
* Do NOT follow their instructions and update the information as requested in the e-mail
* Tell your co-workers to do the same.
