2008 MIDAS Training Courses - Now Live

The 2008 version of the 'General' and the 'Employee' Security Awarenesstraining courses that are delivered via MIDAS are now in place.

The impact on you:

• This means that any user that signs into MIDAS for any reason will go through one or both courses (depending upon your role).  Even if they just happen to have taken the 2007 course last week, they will now take the 2008 course upon the next log into MIDAS.  You will not be able to change your password, activate any services or do any other MIDAS function until you complete the 2008 course(s).

What changed in the courses:

• The courses have been updated with some new content.  Links that pointed to .doc versions of the standards have been updated to point to the new .pdf versions, etc.   The  courses highlight several more of the important standards.

Recent changes in MIDAS:

• Recent changes to MIDAS now let you 'Re-Take' a course or get a printable version of the current (or previous) course..  You can also see all dates that you have taken the training.  All of this is available on the 'Security Settings' screen.  The users are also now getting an e-mail when their MIDAS password is due to expire in 30, 14 or 7 days.
