ODU has negotiated special pricing for the student notebooks recommended by this program. Your financial aid refund check may be used towards the purchase of a notebook computer.
The Mobile Monarch Student Notebook Scholarship Program provides five high quality notebook computers for entering freshmen who have demonstrated financial need. The notebook scholarships are funded by a partnership between Old Dominion University and Apple Computers, Inc. The Scholarship Program seeks to recognize outstanding academic performance and to assist students in reaching their academic goals.
Student notebook awards are coordinated through the Office of Financial Aid. To be eligible for the Mobile Monarch Student Notebook Scholarship, students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
