CCA Setup instructions
- Connect the computer to the wall jack in the dormitory using an Ethernet (RJ-45) cable.
- Open Internet Explorer and you will automatically be redirected to the CCA installation page.
- Click the "continue button to download and run Cisco Clean Access Java Applet web client.
- If a pop up occurs stating "This website wants to install the following add-on: 'Cisco Clean Access Web Login Facilitator' from 'Cisco Systems', you will need to enable ActiveX control for the program. This can be done by clicking the pop-up bar that appears at the top of the window and selecting "Install ActiveX Control..."

- A security warning will occur asking if you would like to install the Cisco Clean Access Web Login Facilitator. Select install.

- You will be taken to the following screen where you must enter your ODU Midas user ID and password. The Provider must be kept as RESNET login

- Select 'No' if an AutoComplete Passwords box pops up.

- Read the Network Security Notice that is shown, and then click the 'Download Clean Access Agent 4.X.X.X'.

- The File Download box will pop up. Select 'Run'.

- Select 'Run' again if given the following warning.

- Select 'Next' to begin the installation of CCA.

- Select 'Next'.

- Select 'Install'.

- Select 'Finish'.

- Enter your ODU Midas user ID and password in the fields. Leave the drop down menu as 'RESNET Login'. Click 'Login'.

- You will then be prompted to install the latest version of CCA. Click 'OK'

- The download of the newer version will occur automatically. Click 'Next'

- Click 'Next'

- Select 'Install'

- Wait for the agent to complete the installation.

- When the installion is complete, click 'Finish'. In the Login screen, enter your Midas ID and Password.

- If the PC fails, you will be given limited internet access to correct/update the necessary items.

- Click 'Accept'

- Click 'OK'

You will only need to download and install the client once. Authentication will be required each time you access network resources. The only required re-authentication will occur at 6:00 am on Sunday mornings unless you logout or disconnect your machine from the network.
