ACCESSING APPLICATIONS THROUGH MYODU

A navigation bar at the top of your myODU page provides one-click access to the following websites and applications. Note that some modules apply to faculty and staff only.

  • The Library tab takes you directly to the library website, where you can search the stacks or explore online databases. Some parts of the library website require your UIN and password for access.
  • The Academic tab takes you to Leo Online and Blackboard modules. The first time you access Leo Online from myODU you will need your UIN and password, after that, you will be asked for your MIDAS password for security reasons.
  • The Financial tab takes you to a customizable stock listing module, a calculator application, and a list of links to ODU HR/jobsites.
  • The Resources tab contains a Leo Online module, notepad and to do list modules, a MapQuest module, a search module and a calculator application.
  • The News & Entertainment tab provides access to local, national, and international news modules, as well as a local movie listings module.
  • The Contact Us tab provides OCCS contact information as well as portal problems and suggestion box modules. You can look over the online help file, which also appears on this page.

myODU also allows you to create your own module pages via the buttons on the top right hand area of the browser. Click on My Pages and you will then be guided through the process of creating a new module page from scratch.
